Fabulous home in Marysville

Julia B - 27th May 2025

Mountain Ash Lodge was a wonderful place to stay for our Autumn weekend getaway. Mountain Ash Lodge was very homely; cosy; warm; well equipped and clean. We loved the fireplace and the beds were very cosy. Backing onto bushland, the views were gorgeous. Having the hot tub on the back deck, which was clean, warm and ready for use, was an added bonus. The staff at Marysville accommodation were also very friendly, helpful and responsive.

House was Not Summer Ready

Michele K - 2nd December 2024

The house is gorgeous and really well appointed but we were there on the first Hot day of Summer. the Aircon was not working at all. There was no aircon in the main bedroom or fans which meant we had a terrible sleep and had to leave the next day as it was still warm and muggy. There was also no summer bedding available ie a light waffle blanket but only a heavy winter duvet.

Perfect escape

Paul Arcodia - 12th July 2023

We enjoyed staying in Marysville for the two nights. The accommodation was in a prime location (everything within a short walk) and we appreciated the fact that the house was well presented and so spacious. Getting the fireplace cranking with cold/damp kindling was a bit challenging but, with a few pieces of cardboard added, we had that beauty running perfectly. Quite possibly too well. This place is worth considering if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful escape.

Beautiful and Tranquility

Victoria Ingram - 26th April 2023

A lovely house with an excellent wood burning firebox to keep the house cosy during the colder months. The house is set in a beautiful garden with a backdrop of mature trees and also features trees and plants providing a display for every season. It was a joy to be there during autumn.

Fantastic location! Fabulous house! Loved every minute of our stay. Very comfortable. Had everything we could ever need. Will be back with our grandkids next time.

Comfy family getaway

We first booked this cottage last year to celebrate our son and daughter in law’s first wedding anniversary but couldn’t go due to the lockdowns. How delightful to share this time with our new granddaughter as well! Little family downstairs and grandparents up in the mezzanine~ perfect! We had three dogs with us and took temporary fencing to make the back verandah secure ~ I’d recommend that. The kitchen is well appointed and a pleasure to cook there! A great comfy family getaway!

Worth coming back 👍

Fantastic location. Very close to grocer, shops, and ski hire. Complete amenities, WiFi, toiletries, towels, and linens. Customer service is great; friendly, always available, and organized. I love that they made a binder of instructions and places nearby. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Fire wood was fully stocked which was reassuring during our winter stay. If I am to nit pick, I hope the jacuzzi was working during our stay and that webs on the ceiling was cleaned.
