Full kitchen with fridge, stove, cook top, microwave, dishwasher and all necessary pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. The living area has been beautifully furnished with a stylish plush lounge suite, large flat screen TV for ease of viewing and cosy wood fire. There is also a split system for instant heating and cooling. From the living room step outside onto the wrap around veranda with a generous sized back yard that backs on to Steavenson river. This home provides the ideal getaway for guests to use as a comfortable and conveniently situated base as they explore this enchanting area.

Cosy getaway
Lisa Wangman - 14th August 2023Buxton Beauty was a great Winter getaway for us, it was so cosy with the central heating and wood fire. Lots of space with a huge table and nice lounge, so good being able to see the river from the dining room. Bath is great for kids and convenient location to be able to walk across the road to the pub for dinner, and not too far away from Lake Mountain and the waterfalls.
Cosy comfortable home
Melody Williams - 29th June 2023A beautiful, cosy home with genuine thought & consideration for guests. Little things like laundry powder, bin bags, tea, salt & pepper etc were available upon arrival. Everything was clean, well maintained and the beds were comfortable. The only things we would have liked to see are curtains in the living areas for privacy & a clothes dryer or larger clothes airers, as drying the laundry for 6 people was somewhat difficult on the little clothes horse provided. Thanks for a great stay
Air conditioned Comfort
Melinda Little - 30th January 2023This house was perfect for our family of five and we especially appreciated that it was fully air conditioned because the weather was hot. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. The river isn’t accessible from the back of the house but we drove to some beautiful swimming holes. It was great having a BBQ to prepare meals, the kitchen only has basic equipment and could do with a restock ie salad bowls, wine glasses. We can recommend this property for a family
