Tina S - 16th June 2025The cottage .was well located and just had all we need . It was good to come to a heated home. What could be improved was hair which was everywhere from sofas , pillowcases and especially the floor. It would be good to let future guests know that the bedrooms have no doors so that they prepare for this .

Nicky Z - 5th November 2024Seemed very expensive and minimalist, but very clean. Even the tea bags were mixed up with each other, contaminating them. At least they had tea bags but there was nothing to welcome us at all.
Lovely weekend stay with the family
Jacqueline Webster - 24th August 2023We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids (9,5 & 5 years old) and Magpie Nest suited us just perfectly. Easy drive to town, safe off road parking in the driveway and very clean. We were visiting as part of a snow weekend! Would defiantly come back and stay here again! Only suggestion would be having a dryer, as we had to do a small load of washing (kids gear) and it was almost impossible to dry on the clothes horses around the house. Also BYO pillows, only 1 per person and very flat

Great spot
